You can use a single 9-V alkaline battery (or an external dc input up to 15 V) to power your contact microphone by linking the battery [+] to DC-1 and [–] to DC-3 connection points. Note that V+ and V– are the positive and negative rails of the circuit, while GND/0V is the virtual ground used to simulate a dual-rail supply, which does not connect to the negative terminal of the battery (it connects just to the middle of the voltage divider formed by R5 and R6).

The project was nothing more than a bathroom washbasin mirror with a bunch of lamps around it. After some experiments with lightbulbs and rocker switches, I decided that it was a dangerous idea to have a rocker switch (made of obscure materials) connected to a fatal AC mains supply very close to my wife when her hands are soaked with water. However, I still cherished it, so to spice things up, I just revamped the concept and added some cool features.
The first part of the schematic is a transformer-less DC power supply for converting the 230-V AC input to about a 16-Vdc output. This DC output is used to power the rest of the electronics, excluding the motion sensor. The very popular, yet cheap, DYP-ME003 PIR sensor module is used here for the detection of human motion. Refer to its datasheet for technical specification, calibration information, etc. Because the module has a provision to attach one light-sensitive resistor (LDR/photoresistor/CdS cell), a 5-mm standard LDR is attached to the module after a minor mod. This drives the switch to be operational only when the detection area is sufficiently dark (the mirror lights up when one enters the darkened bathroom).

Accordingly Henrysbench blog that also published this project describe that the Arduino analog input is limited to a 5 VDC input. If you wish to measure higher voltages, you will need to resort to another means. One way is to use a voltage divider. It is fundamentally a 5:1 voltage divider using a 30K and a 7.5K Ohm resistor.
Keep in mind, you are restricted to voltages that are less than 25 volts. More than that and you will exceed the voltage limit of your Arduino input.

Component Part- 1 x 555 Timer IC
- 1 x 3.3 MΩ Resistor (1/4 Watt)
- 1 x 1 MΩ Resistor (1/4 Watt)
- 1 x Bulb with holder (regular or CFL)
- 1 x 5V Relay Module (if relay module is not available, then you need the following components)
- 1 x 5V Relay

Description
Circuit schematic like in Figure 1 above is Touch ON and OFF Switch using 555 IC. Accordingly Electronichub site describe that the design of the Touch ON and OFF Switch circuit is very simple. First, the GND, VCC and RST pins of the 555 i.e. pins 1, 8 and 4 are connected to GND and 5V respectively. Pin 2 is pulled HIGH using a 3.3 MΩ Resistor and Pin 6 is pulled LOW using a 1 MΩ Resistor.
Two touch plates are connected to pins 2 and 6 as shown in the circuit diagram. In case of the touch to ON plate, one end is connected to pin 2 and other end is connected to GND. Similarly, one end of the touch to OFF plate is connected to +5V and the other end is connected to Pin 6.
The main principle behind the project lies in the basic functionality of the pins of 555 Timer. We know that 555 Timer has 8 pins namely GND (1), Trigger (2), Output (3), Reset (4), Control Voltage (5), Threshold (6), Discharge (7) and VCC (8).
In this, Pins 2 and 6 are used in this project. Now, we see the basic working of these pins. When Pin 6 i.e. the Threshold pin is held LOW, and if Pin 2 i.e. the Trigger Pin is made LOW, the output of the 555 Timer IC will be HIGH and it stays there. This condition can be used to turn ON the appliance.
Now consider Pin 2 is pulled HIGH and if Pin 6 is made HIGH, the output of the 555 Timer IC will be LOW and it stays there. This condition can be used in our project to turn OFF the load or device. And read more HERE.

Description
Circuit schematic like in Figure 1 above is Adjustable Power Supply Module using XL4015 IC. According Electroscheamtics blog describe that power up the module with a stable and accurate dc power supply (such as a regulated 6-V power supply). Then short-press the button on the right side to select which one you need to adjust (input or output). Long-pressing the button on the right side (holding it for >2 s) makes the module enter calibration mode. After releasing the button, the related LED will blink to indicate which voltage is now calibrating, and the numeric display will blink with the present value.
Short-press the button to change the present value. For example, if your power supply is 6 V but the result of voltage meter is 5.8 V, you need to set the value to 6 V.Short-press the button on the right side to increase the voltage by one unit. Short-press the button on the left side to reduce the voltage by one unit.
Long-press button on the right side to store the redressed value. The preset pot sets the actual output voltage. Calibrate the output voltage reading on the digital voltmeter in the same way above. For example, if your actual output is 3 V but the result on the voltmeter is 4 V, you need to set the value to 3 V. The redressed value will be stored in the non-volatile memory of the module.

Description
Circuit schematic like in Figure 1 above is 434MHz RF Based Wireless Remote Control System. Accordingly Electroschematic site describe that this simple RF transmitter, consisting of a 434MHz license-exempt Transmitter module and an encoder IC , was designed to remotely switch simple appliances on and off. The RF part consists of a standard 434MHz transmitter module, which works at a frequency of 433.92 MHz and has a range of about 400m according to the manufacture. The transmitter module has four pins. Apart from “Data” and the “Vcc” pin, there is a common ground (GND) for data and supply. Last is the RF output (ANT) pin.
The miniature 434MHz RF receiver module receives On-Off Keyed (OOK) modulation signal and demodulates it to digital signal for the next decoder stage. Local oscillator is made of Phase Locked Loop (PLL) structure. Technically, this is an Amplitude Shift Keying (ASK) receiver module based on a single-conversion, super-heterodyne receiver architecture and incorporates an entire Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) for precise local oscillator (LO) generation. It can use in OOK / HCS / PWM modulation signal and demodulate to digital signal.
